Eduardo Paralizábal is a visual artist based in Mexico. His formation in documentary language deeply shapes the way he approaches both wedding commissions and personal photography.
With nearly a decade of experience, Eduardo’s work is driven by a deep curiosity about human connection and the sense of adventure. His passion for analogue film and mixed-media experimentation has been pivotal in developing his distinctive visual language: one that feels honest, intentional, and quietly elevated.
Eduardo travels globally to take on wedding and personal projects, creating enduring visual archives for intentional couples.
Artist Statement
Life is not perfect, so why should our photos be?
I see contemporary documentary photography as the articulation of a distinct, personal, and intimate language through which life is observed.
We photograph what we love. Isn’t that what cameras are for?
I’m inspired by color, nature, light, and emotion. I enjoy sharing, creating and exploring wonderful destinations with my camera in hand.
To me, wedding commissions are an invitation to be part of a celebration: to guide it gently and capture it honestly, with a sensitive eye, attention to detail, and the intention of creating an emotional register that allows my couples to relive those moments through photography.
I’m drawn to couples with artistic sense, who want their wedding to be distinct and their photos to reflect who they are. Real love stories looking for meaningful experiences for their celebration.
I don’t think my work ends on the wedding day; it is a souvenir from the present that will accompany the passage of time. An archive of memories that will grow at the same rhythm as the family to which it belongs.
