The Artist behind the Camera.
My path into wedding photography began on the coast, leading destination wedding commissions for a local agency. Those years shaped my instinct for fleeting moments and refined my voice, influenced by my background in documentary filmmaking and fashion. The result is imagery that feels honest, intentional, and quietly elevated.
I hold a Master’s degree in Documentary Photography, and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication. Both continue to shape the way I see and the way I work. Documentary training taught me to observe with patience and depth. Communication gave me the tools to listen well, guide clearly, and build a business rooted in trust and thoughtful experience.
I am drawn to cinema and visual storytelling. I admire directors like Wes Anderson for his distinctive worlds, and cinematographers like Emmanuel Lubezki for his devotion to natural light and immersive frames. That influence lives quietly in my work.
Photographing on 35mm and instant film reminds me to be present. It cannot be repeated or overly polished. It is imperfect in the most beautiful way, and that honesty is at the heart of everything I create.
What matters most to me is connection. I take time to understand each couple’s story, learning names, rhythms, and the energy of the day so everyone feels truly seen. I stay close without interrupting, guiding gently while allowing real emotion to unfold. The photographs are never forced. They are lived in.
Travel has shaped my perspective. New landscapes sharpen my sensitivity to light, texture, and place. Some couples become friends long after the celebration, meeting again for dinner in another city somewhere in the world. That continuity means everything to me.
Being part of the LGBTQ+ community inspires my curiosity about love in all its forms. My hope is that when you receive your gallery, you feel it again. The laughter you forgot. The tears you did not notice. The in between moments that hold everything together.
